Garment bag specification checklist.
| Material | PE or agreed clear film; confirm composition |
|---|---|
| Dimensions | Folded garment width, length and stack thickness |
| Closure | Adhesive flap; reseal requirements by agreement |
| Ventilation | Discuss when relevant to your product and handling |
| Printing | Brand placement, warnings and artwork subject to approval |
| Packing | Bundle and carton quantities to be agreed |

Clarity that supports your workflow.
Clear packaging helps teams identify the garment without opening the bag. Check glare, seam placement and label visibility under your actual packing conditions.
Confirm any product-specific warnings and ventilation requirements before approving the final artwork.
Specify clear garment bags for bulk supply.
Send the folded product dimensions, packing method and target presentation. Confirm material, thickness, opening, flap and print against a sample; a photograph cannot establish protective performance.
Questions before choosing this packaging.
How do I choose the usable dimensions?
Measure the product in its packed state, including any inner wrapping and stack thickness. State the usable width and length separately from the flap, gusset or closure allowance.
Test a representative sample using your normal filling, closing and handling method before approving dimensions.
Which material and closure should I specify?
Describe the contents, weight, handling conditions and whether the packaging will be opened once or repeatedly. For clear bags, discuss visibility; for security or transport bags, explain the opening and transfer process.
Confirm the film or structure, thickness and closure against an agreed sample. Similar-looking packs do not necessarily have the same performance.
Can I request a sample before a bulk order?
Yes, discuss whether an existing sample can answer your questions or whether a custom sample is needed. Specify what you need to check: fit, closure, printing, machine compatibility or handling.
Sample scope, any tooling, cost and timing are agreed after reviewing the brief; a stock sample may not represent the final custom specification.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Provide the packaging type, usable dimensions, material or performance requirements, print artwork, quantity per size and delivery destination. Include photos or a packing sample when useful.
Minimum quantities and lead times depend on the confirmed construction, printing and order mix. Keep the approved specification and artwork for repeat orders.
